Both Scarbrough and Stackhouse have a family root in  Yorkshire, England.

My ancestral  grandfather (John Scarborough) arrived on “Welcome”, which sailed to Bucks Co, PA.,  in  1682.   My wife’s ancestral grandfather (Thomas Stackhouse) arrived on the “Lamb”  in 1682, and also owned land in the same township as John Scarborough. See Ship Arriving in Buck Co., PA
